Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Its Benefits

Foreign Direct Investment, or we usually call FDI in short, actually comes into limelight when it is about making an investment for a business by investors who are not the nationals of the same country. Because of this, the investors from the other land keep a hold on the companies which are bought. The Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, or the OECD in simple way, helps in elaborating the hold as keeping a minimum of 10% or even more than that in the venture.

Businesses, which have made their effort to come up with direct and indirect investment, are called as Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) or Multinational Corporations (MNCs). If we again come on the page of FDI, then we can say that it provides with various benefits for the Multinational Enterprises or Multinational Companies.

If you think the country in which the business has made its investment will be in the benefit side, the you are mistaken. The profit is gained by the other foreign countries of which the investors belong to. However, it also depends upon the percentage of investment.

There is a wide range of benefits availed by the MNEs. The first one is that of the access to the markets, the second one is that of access to resources, and the third one is that of the reduced cost of production. Therefore, with this discussion, we can say that Foreign Direct Investment holds a lot of importance. So, this is what we can conclude with when we discuss about FDI, FDI Consultants Delhi.
